The political lobby is always our main priority. The DSA board has an important seat at the table at both the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and the Ministry of Finance. 

Our agenda is shaped by the input of our members at the annual Prinsjesdag, where the Parliament decides on the financial allocations for the upcoming year. 

Some examples of our lobbying success in 2020 are:

• Startup Visa for key personnel
• Improved regulations on paying staff via stock options
• 300 million euros in Covid-19 emergency loans for startups

Also, our Public Affairs representative, Rogier Klimbie, stays up-to-date with ongoing matters related to entrepreneurship and is available to our community to discuss difficulties and solutions that work in the political sphere, while also safeguarding Dutch innovation.
