Booking platform for sustainable camping Campspace has secured over €1.000.000 from a group of experienced investors in the Dutch and European corporate world.
This will allow Campspace, which was founded in The Netherlands in 2017 as a platform for and by nature lovers, to scale quickly domestically and internationally. The venture had a breakthrough year in 2020, with 1100% growth in bookings and a quadrupling of members offering campspaces.
CEO Hugo van Donselaar says that the initial focus will be on expanding in The Netherlands and Belgium, and afterwards the company will look towards neighbouring markets.
